KRON · WARRANTY DATA
Your record.
Your privacy.
This page explains how information is used by the KRON installation and warranty registration system.
Information in a registration
An authorized installer records the KRON roll, product, vehicle make, model, year and registration number, installation date, coverage areas and material usage. The record also includes the installer, customer name, phone number and internal registration notes.
Customer email and identity-document number are optional. Some older records may contain a VIN. Warranty records include a Warranty ID, status, the accepted terms version and acceptance date, and the applicable expiration date.
Why the information is used
The information connects the product and installation to the registered customer. It supports warranty verification, certificate delivery, product traceability, correction requests and the review of warranty claims.
Public checks and personal certificates
A public Warranty ID check shows product, vehicle and installation information, the installer and warranty status. It does not return the customer's name, phone, email or identity-document number.
Keep your personal certificate link private. It shows the customer's name, phone, email and optional identity-document number. Anyone you forward it to can view those details. Share it only with trusted recipients.
The authorized installer or KRON administrator can replace the personal link. A downloaded PDF is a separate copy; replacing a link does not remove copies already downloaded.
Access and hosting
Registration is restricted to active, approved installer accounts. Installers access their own installation records; KRON administrators manage the warranty system. Personal certificate access uses a random link token.
The service uses Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare D1 for hosting and data storage. Security measures include protected sessions, server-side access checks, input validation and limits on public lookup attempts. A session cookie is used when an administrator or installer signs in.
Installer map and city search
The public installer directory shows active studios, their city-centre map position and the business contacts, address and website entered specifically for public display. Account login emails and private contact details are not copied into the directory.
City searches are processed through Photon using OpenStreetMap data. City search results are cached for up to 30 days; unsuccessful searches are cached briefly. The interactive map uses Mapbox. Mapbox receives normal connection information and map requests for the area being viewed, and may collect usage events under its privacy policy. Public studio contact details are displayed by KRON and are not uploaded to Mapbox. Device location is optional and requires your browser permission. KRON does not send your device coordinates to its server or store them in the warranty database; distance calculations take place in your browser.
Corrections and requests
Start with the studio named in your warranty certificate if your registration needs a correction or you have a question about its data. Ask the studio to have any data-retention or deletion request reviewed by KRON. Warranty records support the administration of registered warranties and related claims.
Do not post your identity-document number, personal certificate link or customer contact details in a public message.
